I’ve compiled these puzzles in my spare time as something fun for the Pepecoin ($PEP) community.
Pepecoin is a Proof of Work cryptocurrency with its own blockchain.
Prizes / How to Claim
The prize for each puzzle is intended to be relative to difficulty.
Where the answer is a 52-character WIF private key, prizes can be claimed using Pepecoin Core‘s “Import Private Key” function.
Where the answer is a 64-character hex private key, it can be converted to a WIF private key.
If you are using Pepecoin Core to store your own $PEP, you should back-up your wallet first. (Pepecoin’s Discord community is friendly and can probably help with technical assistance.)
Where the answer is a seed phrase, prizes can be claimed using mobile versions of Coinomi wallet, which (unlike Komodo Wallet) correctly uses Pepecoin’s derivation path. Or you could derive the private key yourself.

If you think you’re on the right track with your solving, feel free to send me a DM and I’ll let you know if you’re heading in the correct direction or need to go back a few squares. I won’t, however, give any nudges that I think would be unfair to other solvers. Knowing how solvers are progressing is also a good way for me identify any errors in a puzzle that may prevent them from being solved, or adjusting their difficulty if they’re too diabolical.
Solvers may also find these tools useful to check their work and derive keys:
- Learn Me A Bitcoin: Using “m/44’/3434’/0’/0/0” as the derivation path will generate a hex private key from a seed phrase.
- Pepecoin Explorer’s address generation tool: Given a hex or 52-character WIF private key will generate the associated Pepecoin address.

It’s okay for a puzzle to be niche, as long as we have enough variety across all the puzzles so there is something for everyone!

Except where indicated on a puzzle page, these puzzles have been self-funded. I enjoy constructing puzzles (and I hope people enjoy the challenge of solving them). Donations in $PEP would be appreciated so I can fund future prize wallets.
